I was born in Lethbridge and graduated from Catholic Central High School. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Lethbridge and a French language diploma from the University of Rouen in France.
I have over 20 years of professional experience encompassing all economic sectors (public, private, and non-profit). The past nine years of my career have been dedicated to community service and strategic leadership through my position as Development Co-ordinator with the Lethbridge & District Exhibition. In this capacity, I recently completed the Strategic Development Plan for Exhibition Park. I am also a member of the Chamber of Commerce where I sit on the Board of Directors. In 2014, I was appointed to the Alberta Strategic Tourism Council for a 3-year term.
In 2010, I was was elected to my first term as City Councillor. I was an active member of 11 committees and chaired the Open and Effective Government Committee of City Council.
I am a Rotarian and an enthusiastic volunteer who participates in many charity events throughout the year. In 2012 and 2013, I served as Honourary Chair of the Big Brother Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake. I am also an avid curler and an aspiring triathlete.
Along my life path, I have lived in three Canadian provinces and elsewhere throughout the world, but I was thrilled to return home to Lethbridge in 2005. No matter how far away I have been, my heart and home have always been in Lethbridge.
