The Canadian Coalition of Municipalities Against Racism and Discrimination (CMARD), in partnership with the Galt Museum & Archives, the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association, Beyond Your Front Door, the Afro-Canadian Association and the Caribbean Association, invites the public to attend the Black History Month celebrations later this week.
Special events scheduled Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11 will offer opportunities for community members to learn about Black History and continue fostering a welcoming and inclusive community. As well, a full week of events is scheduled Feb. 6-11 to commemorate Black History month, and more information is available at: https://www.facebook.com/events/936123359822819/

Featured presentation by Canadian Black Rights activist Cheryl Foggo
Admission is free. Doors open at 5 p.m.
Saturday Feb. 11, Noon-4:30 p.m.
Galt Museum & Archives
