City Hall Foyer (910 - 4 Ave S)
- Learn about the work of Lethbridge City Councillors
- Consider their workload and appropriate compensation
- Provide input to the members of the Citizen Assembly
In May of this year, City Council approved the creation of the first Citizens' Assembly in Lethbridge. Lead by an independent consultant, this group was randomly selected to review Council's employment status and compensation. Through a series of information and education sessions, they are tasked with returning to City Council in November with a recommendation on the appropriate hours of work and compensation for Lethbridge City Councillors. The feedback gathered at the public round table meeting will be used to help inform that recommendation.
