Council approves request to help fund Pride Fest 10th anniversary celebration

City Council members voted 7-2 to approve a request for $30,000 to help fund the Lethbridge Pride Fest 10th anniversary celebration June 15-23, 2018. The funding will come from Council contingencies, and because the event can receive only one municipal grant per year, Pride Fest will forego a previously approved grant of $5,000 from the 2018 Heart of Our City Activity Grant.
