City to help with cost of Lethbridge College's 60th anniversary event

Council approved a request from Lethbridge College to provide up to $13,000 toward the cost of Coulee Fest, the college's 60th anniversary celebration event on Sept. 23. The free event will welcome back alumni, former staff and faculty and provide an opportunity for the entire community to celebrate.

Monument approved honouring historic link with RCAF 429 Squadron

Council members voted 7-0 to approve a request to erect a granite monument in front of City Hall to honour the link established in 1944 between the City of Lethbridge and 429 Squadron as well as veterans who have served over the past 75 years. All costs for the monument are being funded by the 702 Wing RCAF Association.
