The University of Lethbridge presented their plans for the Let it Shine On Music Festival planned for September 2017 as a celebration of the U of L's 50th Anniversary. They requested $120,000 from the City's Major Events Hosting Grant to help fund the event being held at the Community Stadium.

A public hearing was held on October 17 around the rezoning of land on Stafford Dr. N. to allow for the development of a multi-residential unit. The proposed land use amendment would reclassify three parcels of land totaling 1.16ha (2.88 acres) to allow for the creation of a 48 unit development. The development will include two-story townhouse condominium units with a front attached garage and private driveway.
Approval of bylaw 6013 to change the classification of 1606, 1610 and 1616 Stafford Drive North from Low Density Residential (R-L) to Direct Control (DC).
