Final swim-skate pass sale on now

Residents will have one last chance to purchase swim-skate combo passes before the City of Lethbridge introduces a new software system and re-configures pass options later this fall.

With the upgraded software, changes will be made to streamline pass options. The first change community members will see is the discontinuation of the combined swim-skate pass which has historically had very little uptake.

As in past years, during the month of September, residents will be able to purchase the Swim-Skate Combo Recreation Passes at a 10 per cent discount, thanks to a partnership between Recreation Excellence and the City of Lethbridge.

All combo passes purchased up to, and including, September 30 will be honoured for the term of the pass but the passes will not be sold after this date.

These three and six month passes are good for all Open and Family recreational swims at Nicholas Sheran, Stan Siwik, and Fritz Sick Pools and the final two weeks at Henderson Pool. It also includes recreational skating at all Public Skate, Family Skate, Beginner Skate and Parent and Tot Skate times at City arenas.

The passes are available for purchase from September 1-30 at Nicholas Sheran Pool; at Stan Siwik Pool (when it reopens from annual maintenance work on September 18; and at Fritz Sick Pool. They are available in categories for youth, adults, seniors, families, and one parent families.

Along with simplifying pass options, upgrades to the City's leisure management software will provide many other benefits to the community including the opportunity to introduce online swim lesson registration in early 2018.
