Every January, the City of Lethbridge and Recreation Excellence offer a fitness pass sale as a way to make participation in fitness activities more affordable. January 2012 is no exception, with the sale running from January 1 to 31.
During this month, you can go to any of the City pools – Fritz Sick, Nicholas Sheran, and Stan Siwik – to purchase a 3 or 6 month Fitness Advantage Aquatic Pass at 10% off. Purchases are available for youth, adults, seniors, families and one-parent families. Passes offer admission to all recreation swims plus all fitness aquatic programs at the City pools and include some YWCA Fitness classes and 50% off drop in admission to the 1st Choice Savings Centre for Sport & Wellness at the University of Lethbridge.
“January is a great time to put into place the healthy lifestyle changes that so many people consider with the new year,” says Lori Harasem, Development Manager with Recreation and Culture for the City of Lethbridge. “With this pass, citizens have access to a diversity of activities and facilities so that they can be active, try new things and meet new people.”
In anticipation of increased participation in aquatic activities, more classes have been added to Nicholas Sheran’s aquatics schedule for January through March.
