On Tuesday, August 8, the City of Lethbridge will begin updating the paving stone section of pathway at Henderson Lake Park, starting behind Henderson Lake Pool and finishing at the concession stand on the north side of the lake. Construction is expected to wrap up by Wednesday, August 16, weather permitting.
This project will smooth out the pathway with stamped concrete to improve durability and provide a more consistent and even surface for pedestrians. This update will also include the removal and re-installation of benches and garbage bins along the pathway.
Specific sections of the pathway will be closed to the public during construction and park visitors are asked to following any posted signs near the work areas. Work is weather dependent, and extended periods of poor weather may cause delays to the timeline.
Residents are thanked for their patience during this time.
