Labour Day Service Changes

City Hall & Stafford Centre

City Hall and Stafford Centre are closed on Monday, September 4 for Labour Day. Both buildings will reopen as usual on Tuesday, September 5 at 8 a.m.  
 

Animal Shelter

The Lethbridge Animal Shelter will be closed on Monday, September 4 for Labour Day. It will be open regular hours on Tuesday, September 5.  
 

Transit Services

Lethbridge Transit, including its Customer Service Centre, will be closed on Monday, September 4 for Labour Day. Transit buses will not be running.  
The ACCESS-A-Ride office will also be closed. ACCESS-A-Ride buses will be running but on a holiday service schedule.  
 

Garbage Collection

Residential garbage collection will not be affected by the Labour Day holiday.
The three Yard Waste Sites remain open on holidays.  
The Waste & Recycling Centre is closed on Monday, September 4 for Labour Day.

Lethbridge Public Library

The Lethbridge Public Library- Main Branch, The Crossings Branch and the Bookmobile will be closed Monday, September 4 for Labour Day. Materials that are due can be returned through the book drops outside the buildings.

Helen Schuler Nature Centre

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre will be open on Monday, September 4, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Stop by and see the 100 Reasons to Go Outside exhibit.

Galt Museum

The Galt Museum will be open 1-5 p.m. on Monday, September 4. An unveiling party and free admission to the Galt Museum & Archives is part of the celebration of the new Galt statues.  Music, cupcakes, and children’s activities will be available from 1-4:30 p.m., with remarks at 2 p.m.

Fort Whoop-Up

Fort Whoop-Up will be open 1-5 p.m. on Monday, September 4. Enjoy the final day of the season with a tour and a wagon ride.
