We have received reports of Lethbridge residents who have been contacted recently by people falsely claiming to represent the City of Lethbridge. These individuals are calling and/or going door to door asking to check homeowners' water system or meter and then attempting to sell them water treatment equipment. They may also ask to see your furnace and recommend an upgrade depending on the home.
If the City of Lethbridge attempts to contact you about a water meter or any other water-related service, our employees will have City of Lethbridge ID, uniforms and vehicles. Residents who are concerned that door-to-door salespeople may be misrepresenting themselves are encouraged to contact the Lethbridge Police Service on the complaints line at 403-328-4444.
