There are six indoor ice centres in Lethbridge that house a variety of sports.  All ice centres are operated by the City of Lethbridge and Winter Ice generally operates from September to March each year.  Summer ice is usually available at two ice centres from April to SeptemberAugust.  Public skating schedules can be heard by calling the Public Skating Line 24 hours at 403-320-4971.

Outdoor Skating
Weather permitting, outdoor skating is available on Henderson Lake, Chinook Lake and Nicholas Sheran Lake.  Watch for posted signs in the area on safety and ice conditions.

 Adams Ice Centre
9th Avenue & 13th Street North

Adams Ice Centre is the home for Lethbridge Minor Hockey and is located next to Adams Park.  The season for ice at Adams is generally mid-September to the beginning of April and for non-ice mid-April to mid-August.  The ice surface is 200 feet in length, is 88 feet wide and has a 15 foot radius.  Seating capacity of the arena is 500.

 Civic Ice Centre
6th Avenue & Stafford Drive South

Connected to the Lethbridge Curling Club, the Civic Ice Centre is the home for the Lethbridge Figure Skating Club.  The City of Lethbridge maintains the ice centre while the Curling Club operates the curling side.  Civic Ice Centre operates from the beginning of September to the beginning of April and , at times, during summer months.  The ice surface at Civic is 186 feet in length, 83 feet 6 inches wide and has a 22 foot radius.  Seating capacity is 175. 

 Henderson Ice Centre
7th Avenue & Mayor Magrath Drive South

Henderson Ice Centre is the home of Lethbridge Athletic Association Hockey (LAA).  Henderson Ice Centre operates from the beginning of September to the beginning of April and, at times, during summer months.  The large ice surface is 190 feet in length, 85 feet wide and has a 15 foot radius.  The small ice surface caters to young skaters age 10 and under and is 99 feet 5 inches in length, 41 feet 4 inches wide and has square corners.  The small ice is separated from the large ice surface by rink boards and glass.  The seating capacity for the facility is 700.

 Labor Club Ice Centre
2020 - 18th Avenue North

Labor Club Ice Centre provides ice time to a variety of groups including Ringette, Minor Hockey, Recreation Hockey and Speedskating.  The season for ice at Labor is generally mid-September to the beginning of April and for non-ice mid-April to mid-August. The ice surface is 200 feet 2 inches in length, 85 feet 2 inches wide and has a 28 foot radius.  The seating capacity for the facility is 200.

 Nicholas Sheran Ice Centre
401 Laval Boulevard West

Nicholas Sheran Ice Centre is the home of the University of Lethbridge Men's and Women's Pronghorn Hockey.  Generally operating year round, the ice surface is 200 feet in length, 85 feet wide and has a 28 foot radius.  The seating capacity for the facility is 978.
