MUNICIPAL CENSUS 2010

The census is an official count of the number of people living in our community.  In Lethbridge, census data is gathered to determine the population, plan for municipal services and secure maximum grant funding based on our population (approximately $500 per person).

As a result of continued growth, a census count has been conducted every year since 2005.  The City population in 2009 was 85,492.
