Payment Options

In all instances, please allow sufficient time for your payment to arrive by the due date.

TIPP (Tax Installment Payment Plan)

Consider prepayment of property taxes through the 10 month automatic withdrawal of equalized payments from your bank account beginning in August, with an adjusting entry taking place on June 30.  You will receive a discount incentive on each installment. Each year after taxes are levied, you will receive your notice indicating your final withdrawal amount and also what your new adjusted monthly installment amount will be for payment of property taxes the next year. If you change your bank account, please advise the Assessment & Taxation office and provide a new VOID cheque at least two weeks before the next payment date.  Please record your tax roll number or property address on the front of the cheque. If you purchase property which is already on TIPP, you can assume the TIPP payments by making an application.  TIPP payments are not refundable and may not be transferred from one property to another.  TIPP Bylaw

If you want to join TIPP now, request an application form by:

Completing and sending the application form to the Taxation Department TIPP Application
