General Information - For all customers
Before permanent electric services are installed at your property, you will need the following:
- Site ID - this is a number that is unique to your service and is required before installation of electric service.
- Electricity Retailer - Once a Site ID has been assigned to your service, contact a retailer of your choice and request to enroll your site. Your retailer will submit a request to have your site energized. Note: For a list of retailers see the Utility Consumer Advocate website.
- Final electrical inspection - when your property is ready for electric service installation, you need a final inspection report from development services.
When we have the final electrical inspection report and a service order from your retailer, we will dispatch a crew to install your electric service and energize the site.
Temporary Electrical Service
Temporary service is available if you require electricity at your site prior to the final electric installation. Contact the electric utility for a temporary service. Please allow adequate time for us to accommodate your needs.
