The City of Lethbridge Electric Department's primary responsibility, as a regulated wires service provider is to facilitate the reliable delivery of power to every customer in the City's service area. We do not generate electricity or provide electric retail services. Core Business include:

• Distribution System; Design, engineering, construction, operation, maintenance and repair.
• Transmission Line and Substation System; Design, engineering, construction , operation, maintenance and repair.
