FOR AGES 6 - 10...Junior Naturalists
Join in the fun as we explore different nature topics with games and activities on weekends through the school year. This is a free drop-in program offered Saturdays from 10 a.m. to Noon from September to June, theme changes every other week.

FOR AGES 11 - 15...Extreme By Nature!
Come participate in hands-on, low impact adventures that allow us to discover our natural environment and ways in which to protect it. You MUST pre-register for these programs at least 3 days in advance by calling 403-320-3064.

  • Urban Forests
    Thursday, September 30th
    6:30 - 8:00 pm

Discover our local urban forest with City of Lethbridge arborist, Lindsay Bell. Take a closer look at the lives and health of trees you can find in your own community.


FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY...Nature Walks
Explore the Nature Reserve on a guided walk with a naturalist. Sundays from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at the Nature Centre.

View maps produced at the Nature Centre's Community Bio-Regional Mapping Workshops during ArtWalk 2010. Many local students and citizens created a personal map and contributed their work--come see what your city looks like from another person's inner perspective.

FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY...Shoreline Clean-up
Join the Nature Centre and the Oldman Watershed Council for our shoreline clean-up along the Oldman River. Visit www.shorelinecleanup.ca for more information on how YOU can participate in this national event all weekend long, by yourself or with a group, at a shoreline near and dear to you.

  • Great Canadian Shoreline Clean-up
    September 25th at 2:00 pm
    Meet at the Nature Centre parking lot.




TRY OUR TRAILS!
Explore from the coulees to the cottonwood forest.  Take a walk on one of our three self-guided trails. Enjoy the sounds of the summer forest and catch glimpses of our amazing wildflowers!

Open daily from dawn to dusk.
