A benefit concert presented by local young performing artists.  Admission is donation at the door. All proceeds go to the children of Haiti.

This fashion show and dinner raises awareness about prisoners of conscience. Funds raised go to support the Amnesty International Student Club at the University of Lethbridge.

Join the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra for the Love Notes - Valentine Ball.  An evening of good food, great company and dancing to the sounds of the Symphony.

Tickets are $150 each which includes dinner and a $100 charitable tax receipt

This is certainly not an ordinary tea.  Gentlemen from the orchestra, symphony board and special guests from the community will serve, dressed in their tuxedos.  Mayor Bob Tarleck will lead the elegantly garbed servers.  Background music will be provided by The University of Lethbridge Conservatory Strings and The Chinook Community Orchestra.

As the name implies, there will be an array of fine bone china cups and saucers and other articles for sale, door prizes and baked "goodies"

This is the 14th year this successful event has taken place and is a fundraiser for the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra.

A "special" this year is the sale of the Symphony League's Cook Book - "A Rhapsody of Recipes", launched in December, which is a deligthful compilation of favourite recipes of the Syphony Women's League and the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra members.

Remember, men are certainly welcome - bring your sweetheart!  After all, this IS a Valentine Tea!

The invitation to speak at the dinner is part of a month filled with such high-profile events for Dunham as the premiere of his Comedy Central TV series “The Jeff Dunham Show” on Thursday October 22 and a cameo appearance the following week on the Emmy Award-winning Best Comedy “30 Rock” on NBC on Thursday October 29.

About the MS Global Dinner Party

Every year, on the last Saturday in February, people around the world host dinner parties in support of MS research. The concept is simple: instead of bringing a gift, wine or flowers, each host asks their guests to make a donation in support of multiple sclerosis.

Since 2003, MS organizations around the world have participated in this annual event raising over a quarter of a million dollars for research.

In Canada, proceeds from this event are split between MS Society of Canada research projects and the MS International Federation to support the development and work of the International Paediatric MS Study Group.
