Visiting Lethbridge

There are so many things to do and see in Lethbridge.  If you're planning a visit, you'll need more than a weekend to see and do everything we have to offer.

Visit Lethbridge's Tourism Links to plan your visit and book your accommodations. We also have great dining! And don't forget to print a City Street Map before your arrive.

Here are some of Lethbridge's attractions.

Leisure and Recreation activities are always happening.  Visit our Calendar of Events too for a listing of all events taking place over the next several months.

You'll be disappointed if you don't take the time to walk on one of our many paths and trails.

Helen Schuler Coulee Centre

Nestled amongst the cottonwoods and coulees of the Oldman River Valley and framed beneath the magnificent High Level Bridge, the HSCC introduces visitors to the 81-hectare Lethbridge Nature Reserve.

ENMAX Centre

The ENMAX Centre, formerly the Canada Games Sportsplex was built as a lasting legacy of the 1975 Canada Winter Games.  It plays host to world class concerts, annual three ring circuses, multicultural events, national curling championships, international basketball, banquets, skating events and a major WHL hockey franchise.

River Valley Parks

A system of parks has been developed along the beautiful Oldman River which meanders through the city in a deep, wooded valley.  There are wilderness areas, nature reserves, picnic areas, equestrian facilities and extensive trails for biking and walking.

Sir Alexander Galt Museum and Archives

A year-round destination, the Galt features blockbuster exhibitions, hands-on activities, and programs for the entire family.  The best photo opportunity for the CPR High Level Bridge is at The Galt.

Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens

Built in 1967 as a centennial project, this authentic Japanese garden is a symbol of the Japanese-Canadian friendship that exists in our community.  The garden is a place of contemplation and peace, where five traditional garden styles are joined by a meandering path.  Japanese cultural events, gardening and pruning activities, varied art exhibits, and cultural vignettes make this an attraction to be visited over and over again.

Here are other attractions you will find in Lethbridge.

Once you've explored Lethbridge's attractions, you'll want to come back for some of our Regional attractions like;

And of course we have all the shopping centres and specialty stores that you can imagine.
