I have a question about one of the positions. Who can I talk to?

We include a contact person on each posting. You can call them and ask any questions you would like about the content of the posting and the job details.

Do you accept general applications for employment?

The best way to be considered for a role is to apply for a posted position by submitting your application online.

It is important that you apply for a role that excites you and you feel meets your qualifications and experience.

 

The posting I am interested in has closed, may I still apply?

Applications for posted positions may be submitted until midnight on the closing date. If you have questions or concerns about positions that have closed please contact Human Resources.

How will I know if I am selected for an interview?

When you are selected for an interview, you will receive either a telephone call or e-mail from a Human Resources Representative or the Hiring Manager.

 

Will you contact me even if I don't get an interview?

If you are not selected for an interview you will receive an email thanking you for your interest in the position.

 

How are positions advertised?

We have two types of postings: Internal and External.

• Internal Postings: are posted on our intranet, and are filled exclusively by members of our bargaining units.

• External Postings: are posted on our intranet as well as our website (Lethbridge.ca) and are open to all candidates.

 

Can I apply for more than one position at a time?

We encourage you to apply to any opportunities that meet your skills, education and professional experience.

 

How often are job opportunities posted on the CityWise/City of Lethbridge website?

We post opportunities on a regular basis.
