There are three cemeteries located in our city (Archmount, Mountain View and St. Patrick's), all owned and operated by the City of Lethbridge. A fourth cemetery, Royal View Memorial is currently in the initial construction phase of development.
Cemetery Administration Office
The administration office for all of the cemeteries is located in the heart of Mountain View Cemetery, 1210 Scenic Drive South and is open weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with the exception of the noon hour (12:00 to 1:00 p.m.). Drive through the main gates to the centre of the cemetery, ample customer parking is provided next to the office.
We coordinate interment services, sell burial rights (plots and niches), perform record searches and provide interment location maps for all our cemeteries from this location.
Interments may be booked Monday to Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the exception of Statutory Holidays.
We require one full business days notice for interments in Mountain View & St. Patrick's Cemeteries and two full business days notice for interments in Archmount Cemetery.
Casket interment arrangements are usually booked by the Funeral Home of your choice. Cremation interments may be booked by the Funeral Home or by the Family.
