Tips & Tricks

  • To draw a polygon, circle or oval with no or empty fill, select a Fill Type of None.
  • Different graphic elements (line, polygon, circle, oval and text) can be added to the map by selecting the appropriate icon after drawing another element and simply clicking on the map to start the new element.
  • Before double-clicking to finish drawing a line or polygon you can remove points (vertices) that make up the geometry of the line or polygon by right-clicking the mouse.  This is a great way to undo points that you placed in the wrong location.
