About the Project
Whoop-up Drive bridge will be undergoing rehabilitation work during the spring and summer of 2015.
The City of Lethbridge monitors bridge conditions and sets out a maintenance program that ensures our bridges continue to be safe and in good condition. The Whoop-up Drive Bridge rehab project is part of scheduled preventative maintenance. We inspect and assess all our bridges every three years, from this program we establish a 10yr rehabilitation program which identifies priorities and their timings.
The Project includes:

Barrier rehab involves removing the deteriorated concrete and replacing it to preserve and extend the life of the existing infrastructure.

- 1 lane (south lane) closure starting July 21 and ending September 23 (estimated)

- 2 lane (middle and north lanes) closure starting July 8 to August 27 (estimated)
