The installation of three new rail/road crossing warning systems in the City's
industrial area, the installation of rail stop boards at F-Lead and 2 Ave N, as well as dividing the track
circuit for G-Lead at the 2nd Avenue North spur line.
These improvements will increase rail crossing safety and ensure that an acceptable level of service is restored, while meeting current regulations and reducing traffic delays, road user costs and driver frustration.
This project was completed in December 2015.
