Project Description

This project involves the installation of wheelchair accessible picnic tables, coloured and textured concrete surfacing and new fire pits at four picnic locations in Indian Battle Park.

Background

Indian Battle Park is one of Lethbridge’s feature parks and has many amenities to offer residents. There are many picnic areas in the park but, aside from the picnic shelters, none of the sites are universally accessible. In continuing with the city’s progression towards being a more universally accessible community, Parks is upgrading a group of picnic sites to be accessible to residents of all abilities.

Scope

The scope of work will include the removal of existing surfacing and furniture and the installation of new fire pits, accessible picnic tables, and coloured, textured concrete surfacing.

Deliverables
