The Waste & Recycling Centre (Lethbridge landfill) is a modern integrated waste management facility which serves the City of Lethbridge and surrounding regions. Safe disposal, recycling and composting services are available for both residential and commercial customers.

Monday - Saturday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Closed on all statutory holidays except Family Day. Open Boxing Day.
During periods of high winds, some areas of the Waste & Recycling Centre may close to prevent litter from being carried to neighbouring properties. Contact 311 before your visit to confirm.

The Waste and Recycling Centre is located at 213044 Township Road 100, Lethbridge County, Alberta.
Follow 28 Street North until the road bends to the right (approximately 7 km out of town). The Centre is located just after the bend, on the left-hand side of the road.

Compost and Recycled Aggregates
The City of Lethbridge recycles concrete, asphalt, porcelain and brick & block into aggregate products. Recycled aggregate products are available for sale to private contractors and the public, along with compost and shredded wood. These products are a great choice for any project and the Waste & Recycling Centre offers a range of materials to meet your construction and landscaping needs.

FAQs
What is the Free Saturday Disposal Program?
Every Saturday, year-round, Lethbridge residents can dispose of up to 250 kg of their additional household and bulky waste items at the centre for free. For waste exceeding 250 kg, tipping rates apply.
Too Good to Waste School Tours
The Waste & Recycling Centre offers tours targeted at Grade 4 students to introduce them to all of the ways that Lethbridge collects and manages all the waste and garbage produced on a daily basis.
