Where can I drop off recyclables in Lethbridge?
Stafford Drive North Recycling Station - junction of Stafford Dr. N. and Scenic Dr. N.
Bridge Drive West Recycling Station (equipped with Yard Waste disposal) - junction of Bridge Dr. W. and University Dr. W.
Fairway Plaza Recycling Drop-off - 2750 Fairway Plaza Rd. S. - The previously existing site has been modified with new bins.

What is Accepted at the Recycling Stations?
Recyclable: clean cardboard, boxboard
(ex: cereal boxes, pop cases, tissue boxes).
Not Recyclable: dirty pizza boxes.
***Note: Please flatten all boxes.
Recyclable: clear glass bottles and jars.
Not Recyclable: coloured glass, light bulbs, porcelain or ceramics.
***Note: Please rinse all glass and remove labels and lids (tin lids can be recycled in the Metal recycling bin).
Recyclable: clean tin and aluminum beverage and food cans
(ex: soup cans, pop cans), tin lids & caps.
Not Recyclable: aluminum foil, batteries, propane bottles, aerosols.
***Note: Please rinse all cans and remove labels.
Recyclable: newspaper, office and household paper, magazines, envelopes, junk mail, shredded paper (in bags- see steps below).
Not Recyclable: wet or soiled paper.
***Note: Please bag shredded and loose paper
Plastic & Plastic Bags
Recyclable: Plastics with a number 1 through number 7 recycle symbol on the bottom of the container, clean plastic bags (ex: grocery bags). Styrofoam is not recyclable in Lethbridge (even if it has a recycle symbol and number on the bottom of it).
Not Recyclable: Styrofoam.
***Notes: Please rinse and squish all plastic containers.
Please bundle all plastic bags into one bag and tie.
