What is the Secure Load Policy?
All loads entering and exiting the Waste & Recycling Centre must be secured to prevent waste and litter from spilling or blowing off of vehicles onto roadways and ditches.

What are the Hours of Operation?
Winter Hours: November 1st - March 31st
Monday - Saturday 7:00am - 5:00pm
Summer Hours: April 1st - October 31st
Monday - Saturday 7:00am - 7:00pm
Closed on all statutory holidays except Family Day (the third Monday in February).

What is the Free Saturday Disposal (up to 250kgs) Program?
Every Saturday, year-round, residents can dispose of up to 250kgs of their additional household and bulky waste items at the centre for free. For waste exceeding 250kg,

Reusing Items
Individuals who have electronic (and other waste) that has not yet reached the end of its useful life have several reuse options. These items may be donated to a number of charities and thrift stores, posted on websites such as
Freecycle and
Kijiji as well as publications like the
Lethbridge Shopper facilitate requests and give away of such items.
