Advocacy Advisory Adhoc Committee

Mandate

The Advocacy Advisory Adhoc Committee is a temporary committee (being dissolved at the 2021 Organizational Meeting of City Council), formed for the purpose of developing and implementing an advocacy plan to ensure that work of the City of Lethbridge is shared and communicated with partners and other levels of government. 

Meetings

Meetings are held the fourth Friday of every month from 1:00 P.M. or as deemed necessary by the Chair.

COVID-19 NOTICE: As the pandemic continues, the Advocacy Advisory Committee is committed to maintaining social and physical distancing. As such, meetings will be held virtually until further notice.

The Terms of Reference set the mandate, composition and duties of the committee.


​The City of Lethbridge acknowledges that we are gathered on the lands of the Blackfoot people of the Canadian Plains and pays respect to the Blackfoot people past, present and future while recognizing and respecting their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship to the land.  The City of Lethbridge is also home to the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
