The Audit Standing Policy Committee meets in person as well as offering a hybrid meeting format, by utilizing Microsoft TEAMS, for anyone who needs to attend virtually.
Public participation is welcome in the form of written or verbal submissions, and may request to attend virtually via Microsoft TEAMS. The Committee may invite external experts to present information on a topic before them. For information on participation, contact cityclerk@lethbridge.ca.
Meetings
Meets Monthly, first Wednesday of the month, or as per the Council Calendar. Meetings may be cancelled, or date/time revised by vote of the Committee or Council. Meetings are governed by

Mandate
The Audit Standing Policy Committee is to provide recommendations and advice to Council in fulfilling its responsibilities relating to oversight and stewardship relating to monitoring the internal controls over financial reporting, the independence and performance of the Auditors, overseeing reviews of departments and projects, and risk identification and exposure, including items arising from the Boards, Commissions, and the Committees that report to it.
