Cultural and Social Standing Policy Committee


COVID-19 NOTICE: As the pandemic continues, the Cultural and Social SPC is committed to maintaining social and physical distancing. As such, meetings will have virtual and physical participation. 

Public participation is welcome in the form of written or verbal submissions. The Committee may invite external experts to present information on a topic before them. For information on participation, contact cityclerk@lethbridge.ca.

Meetings

Meetings are held the third Thursday of the month, or as per the Council Calendar. Meetings may be canceled, or the date/time revised by vote of the Committee or Council. Meetings are governed by Bylaw 6250 - Procedure Bylaw

 Make an online presentation at the meeting (limit 5 mins.)

 Send a Recorded Voice presentation (limit 5 mins.)

 

Mandate

The Cultural and Social Standing Policy Committee advises City Council on broad social and cultural matters that affect residents of the City and make recommendations to City Council regarding the planning, development, and implementation of municipal strategies to meet community social and cultural needs. This includes items emanating from the Committees that report to it.
