The Economic Standing Policy Committee meets in person as well as offering a hybrid meeting format, by utilizing Microsoft TEAMS, for anyone who needs to attend virtually.
Public participation is welcome in the form of written or verbal submissions, and may request to attend virtually via Microsoft TEAMS. The Committee may invite external experts to present information on a topic before them. For information on participation, contact cityclerk@lethbridge.ca.
Meetings
Meets monthly, third or fourth Wednesday of the month on the week on no Council Meeting, or as per the Council Calendar. Meetings may be canceled, or the date/time revised by vote of the Committee or Council. Meetings are governed by

Mandate
The Economic Standing Policy Committee assists Council in fulfilling its responsibilities relating to the planning, development, and implementation of the City's financial planning and budgeting, fiscal policy development and fiscal strategies, revenue, and tax. This includes items emanating from the Committees that report to it.
