Bylaw 6236 - The Westminster Area Redevelopment Plan

What is this bylaw about?

​The Westminster Area Redevelopment Plan (WARP), Bylaw 6236, is under review by City Council. It received its First Reading on August 24, 2020, and a Public Hearing was held on Stepmebr 21, 2020. On November 2, 2020, City Council identified several amendments to the WARP and on May 18, 2021, these were approved by City Council. 

The WARP will be discussed at a second Public Hearing on June 15, 2021, and there is an opportunity for you to share additional feedback with Council. 

The role of the WARP is to provide a planning framework and supporting policies for the redevelopment of the Westminster neighbourhood.

The public hearing will be in Council Chamber, City Hall
