A Business Improvement Area (BIA) is a specific geographic area of the city in which businesses pool resources and work together, through a formal association, to support vibrancy, economic health, and appeal of key commercial areas.

Downtown Lethrbidge Business Revitilization Zone
The Downtown Lethbridge Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ), established in 1987, is a visionary collective of business leaders who believe that the heart of the city beats in its center core. As a non-profit association, the BRZ is funded by the over 600 businesses it represents through a tax levy.

Warehouse District Business Improvement Area
A BIA is not yet approved for the Warehouse District, however a committee has formed and is in the initial stages of the process to establish a BIA.
