​The annual road maintenance program for the City of Lethbridge includes road milling and paving which is an important part of ensuring there are safe streets for motorists.

This year's program begins on Saturday, May 14, weather permitting, along sections of the following arterial, collector and local roads:

• Mayor Magrath Drive South (SB) from 12 Avenue South  to 14 Avenue South
• Mayor Magrath Drive South (NB) from 15 Avenue South to 10 Avenue South
  
• Scenic Drive South (WB) from 24 Street South to 20 Street South
• Mayor Magrath Drive South (SB) from 19 Avenue South  to 22 Avenue South
• Mayor Magrath Drive South (NB) from 20 Avenue South to Henderson Lake Blvd South
• Scenic Drive South (Both Directions) from 15 Street South to Chinook Heights
• Tudor Crescent South from Tudor Crescent South to Tudor Court South
• Tudor Boulevard South from Kings Crescent South to Kings Crescent South
• Columbia Boulevard West from Lafayette Ramp (McMaster) to Lafayette Boulevard West
• Laval Boulevard West from McGill Boulevard West and Laurentian Place West
• 20 Avenue South from Lakeside Road South to 32 Street South
• Columbia Boulevard West from Lafayette Boulevard West to Berkeley Place West
• Kings Mew from Kings Crescent South to the end
• Kings Place South from Kings Crescent South to the end
• Kings Crescent South from Kings Place South to Tudor Boulevard South
• Kings Crescent South from Kings Place South to Kings Road South
• 19 Street South from 9 Avenue South to 8 Avenue South

Paving of these roads will occur after milling has been completed. Motorists, especially motorcyclists, are urged to drive with caution as road surfaces will be uneven following milling and as always obey any posted speed limits and detours.

The timing of any lane reductions and road closures has been planned to limit the impact to traffic, but motorists may still experience minor delays in work areas.
