UPDATE - March 26 at 2 p.m. - The clean-up of this spill has now been completed.
Residents and pet owners are advised to take care if walking at Peenaquim Park after an anti-freeze spill.
A sub-contractor who was working in the area spilled anti-freeze along the pathway at Peenaquim Park.
Our Parks Operations team were alerted to this incident and clean-up is underway.
We'd like to advise residents and pet owners to take care or steer clear of the area until the clean-up has been completed as the anti-freeze substance can be dangerous if ingested. We apologize for any inconvenience to residents and will update the public once the situation has been resolved.
