Civic Common Master Plan presented to City Council

The final Civic Common Master Plan was presented to City Council. This master plan was developed over the past seven months in consultation with the study team, stakeholders, the public, and Lethbridge City Council, who worked to shape the vision for the Civic Common. It provides the community's long-term vision for the future of this core area of Lethbridge and documents background research, site analysis, community engagement, design vision, and a phasing strategy.

Council supports adoption of Lethbridge Play Charter

City Council members unanimously supported the adoption of the Lethbridge Play Charter, a document that outlines why play is important and identifies how different organizations can work together to create a community that supports and encourages comprehensive play opportunities for all children in Lethbridge. Mayor Chris Spearman will officially sign the Lethbridge Play Charter on Friday, November 16 in conjunction with National Child Day. ​

Community consultations continue for Municipal Housing Strategy

Council members were updated on the progress of community consultations toward the development of a Municipal Housing Strategy. They approved Terms of Reference for the project task force, which is being chaired by Councillor Belinda Crowson and also includes three other members of City Council.
