Don't miss the Community Conversation

This Wednesday, January 18 the City of Lethbridge will host it's first, in-person community engagement event since 2019. With over 35 projects to explore and fun, free activities for the whole family, local residents can be informed, give feedback and connect with the City staff and partners.

The event will be held from 3-7 p.m. at the ENMAX Centre and will include major projects like the upcoming curbside organics program and changes to snow and ice control. For a full list of projects and activities visit www.getinvolvedlethbridge.ca/communityconversation.

Some of the event highlights include:

  • Free public skating
  • Concession samples
  • Kids activities with the Helen Schuler Nature Centre and Lethbridge Public Library
  • Newly named snow plow on display
  • Fire and Emergency Services specialized dive team, fire prevention and Sparky the mascot
  • Swag give-aways
  • Prize draws

Community Conversations are a way to bring together all of the City projects requiring community engagement in one convenient location, making it easier for residents to participate. Public participation helps build a strong and connected community, informs council decision making and helps improve the city we all call home.
