Community Wellbeing and Safety Workshop

Following the recently completed Community Wellbeing and Safety Needs Assessment and Strategy (CWSS), we are holding a full day Community Wellbeing and Safety Workshop to provide information and support relating to systems integration, collective impact, the CWSS and the upcoming RFP process.

Location: Coast Hotel and Conference Centre, Continental Ballroom

Date and time: Thursday, October 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The workshop will:

  • Review and provide a progress report on the Community Wellbeing and Safety Strategy
  • Introduce the Request for Proposal
  • Provide information on Integrated Coordinated Access

The plan envisions a City in which all individuals, families, and communities have opportunities for healthy development and social wellbeing.

To this end, pending required approval, Community Social Development will initiate a Request for Proposals (RFP) which will integrate all of the funding the department oversees including Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), Reaching Home and Outreach Support Services Initiative (OSSI). The goal is to achieve individual wellbeing, systems integration, collective impact, and will apply a community governance model to adjudicate the proposals.

To register, please complete the following form at https://bit.ly/3208UCi on or before October 30 as space is limited.

Please note, to ensure fairness and transparency we are unable to discuss anything related to the RFP outside of this workshop.
