The City of Lethbridge is developing a Municipal Housing Strategy that will allow the City to understand and address the housing needs in the community until the year 2025. This strategy will help the City to allocate resources and better serve households in need.
As part of this process, Lethbridge residents are invited to participate in a community workshop on Nov. 21 to discuss preliminary findings to date and develop a deeper understanding of the housing challenges residents currently face.
Community Workshop on Housing Needs & Priorities

Coast Lethbridge Hotel & Conference Centre- Grand Ballroom

A City Council-appointed Municipal Housing Strategy Task Force is overseeing the development of the strategy. The task force is chaired by Councillor Belinda Crowson and also includes Mayor Chris Spearman, Councillor Blaine Hyggen and Councillor Rob Miyashiro.
The strategy is expected to be complete by March 2019 and will also serve as a strategic tool for all levels of government in planning and making decisions about social and affordable housing. More information on the Municipal Housing Strategy project is available at www.lethbridge.ca/HousingStrategy.
