Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a barn on fire in the 200 block of 30 Street West at approximately 3 a.m. on Thursday.
Twenty-three firefighters from four stations responded and found a barn fully involved with flames. Water supply from tanker trucks was required from neighbouring fire departments.
The fire was discovered by a Lethbridge Herald news carrier who awoke the owner. The owner called Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire destroyed the barn and damaged a fifth-wheel holiday trailer and fencing. There were no injuries reported and total damages are estimated at $50,000.
Fire investigators found the cause of the fire to be undetermined.
