Lethbridge Fire & EMS crews responded to a fire to a fourplex complex in the 500 block of 9 Avenue North at approximately 11:15 p.m. Monday night.
Crews from four stations responded to the call and arrived to fire coming out of the fourplex's roof. Crews were able to contain the fire to the fourplex with no spread to neighbouring homes.
All occupants were accounted for and no injuries have been reported, but several pets were missing. The estimated damage is $1.25 million. The fire is currently under investigation.
Shortly after arrival to the first fire, crews were notified at about 11:35 p.m. of a fire in the 500 block of 13 Street South.
On arrival, crews were faced with a working fire throughout the structure. Lethbridge Fire & EMS received assistance from Coalhurst and Coaldale fire departments to assist with second fire.
There were no injuries to residents or firefighters. The estimated damage is $150,000. The fire is currently under investigation.
