Calling all kids - help design the City’s next playground

Parents and kids are invited to Legacy Park on August 15 to take part in fun activities that will help shape the design of the new discovery playground in Legacy Park. This new play area is intended to be a multigenerational space where people of all ages and abilities will find accessible, exciting and engaging outdoor fun.

Parks staff and design consultants will be on site from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. to show current concept designs and take feedback and ideas for elements of the new playground.

Children of all ages are encouraged to share their ideas and show off their creative skills by building the play tower of their dreams or working with one of the consulting artists to draw pieces of this new playground. Families can enter to win a set of four tickets to Paw Patrol coming to the ENMAX Centre on February 4. For those with older children, there will also be a draw to win a $50 Sport Chek gift card!

Tents and balloons will be set up at the future location of the new discovery playground near the basketball courts.

Time:                    11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
