The Lethbridge Airport is holding an emergency training exercise today, November 8 on the airfield starting at 10 a.m.
This is a full-scale exercise with participants from Lethbridge Airport, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services, Lethbridge Police Service, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the City of Lethbridge. The exercise will simulate an emergency impacting the airport, requiring coordinated support from first responders.
Residents should note that emergency vehicles will be visible on the airfield and at the terminal.
There will be no impact to air service. Passengers will be able to arrive and depart on their flights without delay. The exercise is anticipated to end around 3 p.m. on this afternoon.
