As we head into the Family Day long weekend, here is a list of activities and holiday service changes.
Family Day Unplugged
Plan to participate in Family Day Unplugged to disconnect from electronics and connect with your loved ones.
Helen Schuler Nature Centre
The Nature Centre is open special Family Day hours Monday Feb. 17 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Choose from a variety of indoor and outdoor self-guided activities for your family to enjoy together!
- Check out the Energize Exhibit! Experiment with energy in a series of hands-on activity stations. Fun for all ages!

Galt Museum & Archives
Family Day Brunch
Celebrate Family Day at the Galt Museum & Archives with a pancake brunch, live music and homemade crafts! Check out the Recollecting Home exhibit and complete a special treasure hunt. Head downstairs to the Archives for a tour and to learn about local history research!
Monday, February 17 | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. | children to attend with adults | registration not required | free admission
Family Fun Day on Monday, Feb. 17 from 12-3 p.m. Bring the whole family to Casa and experience the arts! Activities are free and are designed for families with children ages 6-12 to create together.

- Fritz Sick Pool will be closed Monday, Feb. 17 for Family Day.
- Nicholas Sheran and Stan Siwik Pools will be open Family Day, Feb. 17:
Open Swim from 1-4 p.m. and Lane Swim from 4-5 p.m.
Cor Van Ray YMCA at ATB Centre

Free Public Skating is offered at Nicholas Sheran Arena from 12-2 p.m. on Family Day.
All other arenas are closed on Family Day.
Holiday Service Changes
The Lethbridge 311 office will be closed on Monday, February 17 for Family Day. Our customer service specialists will return on Tuesday, February 18 at 8 a.m.

City Hall & Stafford Centre
City Hall and Stafford Centre are closed on Monday, February 17 for Family Day. Both buildings will reopen on Tuesday, February 18 at 8 a.m.
Online payments & services
Parking in the downtown will be free on Monday, February 17. The parking kiosks will not accept money on the holiday Monday and the Way to Park app will only take payment for monthly parking passes. Regular parking rates will be back in effect on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
The Lethbridge Animal Shelter will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17 for Family Day. It will be open regular hours on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Lost & Found Pet information
Lethbridge Transit will run its
Sunday/Holiday Schedule (8 a.m. to 7 p.m.) on Family Day, Monday, Feb. 17. The Lethbridge Transit Offices will be closed on Family Day.
The ACCESS-A-Ride office will also be closed on Family Day, but ACCESS-A-Ride buses will be running on a
holiday service schedule.

- Curbside collection will not be affected by the Family Day holiday.
- The Waste & Recycling Centre will be open regular hours on Monday, Feb. 17 from 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

Lethbridge Public Library
The Lethbridge Public Library- Main Branch, The Crossings Branch and the Bookmobile will be closed Monday, February 17 for Family Day. Materials that are due can be returned through the book drops outside the buildings.
