Give feedback on the next stage of cycling routes

‚ÄčA planning study is underway for the design of the next stages of the City of Lethbridge's Cycling Master Plan and residents are asked to give their feedback in-person and online.

The Cycling Corridor Functional Planning Study is focused on creating the next stage of on-street, commuter cycling routes throughout the city, connecting to key pathways and existing roads.

Those interested providing feedback on the initial plans of this study can go online to www.lethbridge.ca/cyclingstudy or plan to attend in-person at one of several pop-up engagement session happening this week.

This week's in-person community engagement opportunities include:

  • Friday, Sept 21 | 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. | 4 Ave S and 6 St S
  • Saturday, Sept 22 | 8 a.m. to 12 noon | Farmers' Market, Exhibition Park
  • Saturday, Sept 22 | 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Word on the Street Festival, Lethbridge Public Library Main Branch

Gathering input from public and stakeholders will be a vital part of this project. Community engagement will help identify existing concerns and issues along the corridors, develop options and test different solution to determine the preferred design. Online feedback will be collected for several weeks.
