Due to the recent change in weather conditions, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services is lifting the fire ban for the city's river valley. This fire ban was put in place July 17 following an extended period of dry hot weather.
Precautions should still be taken when having fires. Always use clean, dry wood and ensure all fires are completely out before leaving. Residents are also reminded to be extra cautious when disposing of smoking materials.
