Halloween coupon books are making a return after a postponement due to the pandemic. The partnership between the City of Lethbridge and Recreation Excellence offer a healthy alternative to handing out candy.
The coupon books cost $5.00 and contain 10 passes, five free swimming passes and five free skating passes to any Recreation Excellence operated City of Lethbridge pool or City arena. Receiving a coupon is a fun alternative for trick-or-treaters that offers kids an opportunity to enjoy a healthy activity.
The pools include, Nicholas Sheran, Stan Siwik and Fritz Sick and the arenas include the ATB Centre, Nicholas Sheran, Civic Ice Centre, Henderson, Logan Boulet and Labour Club. The passes can be used between November 1, 2022 and January 5, 2023 for admission into public programming.
The coupon books are only available for purchase at a Recreation Excellence operated City pool, which includes Nicholas Sheran, Stan Siwik or Fritz Sick during regular business hours. Supplies are limited so residents are encouraged to purchase their booklets early.
