Henderson Park irrigation replacement project now underway

Beginning Tuesday October 15, construction will start on the irrigation system replacement in Henderson Park.

Work will start on the east end of the park and progress to the west over the next 18 months. Residents can expect path closures and areas of the park to be fenced off. Park users are asked to follow pedestrian detour signs.

A portion of the north east parking lot (near the concession building) will be closed to the public for the duration of the project.

Construction is expected to continue until Spring 2021. Work will not occur during the summer months so annual festivals and events can still be hosted at the park. All paths will remain open during construction shut down periods.

Work will resume through the fall, winter and spring as weather allows.

This project will not impact Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens, Spitz Stadium, Henderson Pool, Henderson Golf Course or Henderson Ice Rink.
