Henderson Pool will be closed Monday, August 28 due to an incident of diarrhea and vomiting Sunday evening. The pool is expected to reopen on Tuesday, August 29.
Visitors coming to Henderson Pool are reminder of these very important pool rules:
- Patrons suffering from illness like vomiting and diarrhea are asked to return two weeks after their symptoms have dissipated.
- Proper pool and plastic pants are required for children not yet toilet trained and individuals with bowel and/or bladder incontinence. Pool pants are available at the front desk if you have forgotten them. Disposable diapers are not permitted in the water.
Adhering to these rules will prevent contamination and the shutdown of the pool.
Alberta Health Services, the City of Lethbridge, and Recreation Excellence will continue to work on decontaminating the pool on Monday.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Alternatively, residents can enjoy one of the City's two outdoor spray parks. For more information visit: http://www.lethbridge.ca/pools.
